What do I do if someone is impersonating me?
If someone has created a SALT profile using your photos or other personal information, please submit a request below and include the following information:
- The reason for the report
- The exact name, age, bio, and photos that appear on the profile that you are reporting (screenshots are best)
Other information that could help includes the user's location, phone number, email address, and/or a link to their Facebook account.
The more details you can provide, the quicker we can identify and investigate the profile or user in question.
For us to take the appropriate action on this profile, we will also need to verify your identity. Please email a photo of a government-issued I.D. such as a passport or driver’s license to us. In the subject line write "SALT Impersonation - [Your Name]." Cover up any home addresses and document identification numbers.
This photo should clearly show the following:
- A photo of your face
- Your full legal name
- Your date of birth
Once we've confirmed your identity we'll work to take down that profile immediately.
What do I do if someone I know is being impersonated?
Please contact the person you know and have them report it to us directly. You can also report this profile directly on SALT.
If the person you know is someone that you are authorized to represent (i.e. your child, client, etc.), please contact us and include the information listed above.
